Obituary of Martin Ruiz- Herrera

Funeral service for Martin Ruiz- Herrera, 33, of Point, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Susai and Father Bowlin officiating. Interment will follow at Pippin and Hill Cemetery in Miller Grove with Rigoberto Estrada, Angel Rodriguez, Manuel Hernandez, Mario Camargo, Pascual Fiscal, and Ramon Arias serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Abel Saucedo, Carlos Fiscal, Andres Chavez, and Samuel Chavez. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home with Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Ruiz passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in Hopkins County. He was born on July 1, 1979 in Quiroga, Michoacan, the son of Nicolas Ruiz and Eufrosinda Herrera. He married Adriana Chavez. She survives. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and worked as a machinery operator for Roberto Sisk Excavation. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents, daughters, Adriana Lizbet Ruiz and Karla Ruiz, sisters, Salud Barriga, Diocelina Ruiz, and Cristina Ruiz all of Mexico, and several nieces and nephews.
