Obituary of Barbara Burrows
Graveside services for Barbara Jane (Crabtree) Burrows, 74, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2012 at Gaffords Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Stinson officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Leo Mathews, Jerry Moss, Doyle Dunn, and Jason Barnett. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Burrows passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 29, 1938 in Hopkins County, the daughter of Henry Wiley Crabtree and Glyna May Vanderslice Jones. She married Charles Lewis Burrows on April 9, 1955 in Hopkins County. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1996. She worked as an antique dealer for almost 50 years. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Heritage Park Museum. She is survived by daughters, Charlotte Barnett of Sulphur Springs, Linda Miears of Sulphur Springs, brother, Jerry Crabtree and wife Wanda, grandchildren, Jason Barnett, Chelsey Miears, Shelbi Miears, great-grandchild, Logan Edwards, and numerous nieces. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Peggy June Crabtree Hopson, Jeannie Crabtree, and one brother, Phil Crabtree.
