Obituary of Mary Stubblefield

Funeral service for Mary Lou (Taylor) Stubblefield, 65, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. C.J. Duffey officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Jackie Normandeau, Floyd Taylor, Billy Campbell, Kent Mitchell, Roy Taylor, and James Rollins serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Stubblefield passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at her residence. She was born on August 26, 1946 in Cooper, TX, the daughter of Arvie Chester and Faye E. (Fox) Taylor. She married Boyce Earl Stubblefield in Hugo, OK in 1964. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1990. Mary worked as a janitor at Lamar Elementary School for 20 years. She is survived by daughter, Donna Worley and husband Rodney of Sulphur Springs, eight grandchildren, Nellie and Kent Mitchell of Arbala, Joshua and Francies France of Tyler, Chesley Stubblefield of Sulphur Springs, Dillon Stubblefield of Sulphur Springs, Deanne Stubblefield of Sulphur Springs, Jeffery Stubblefield of Denison, six great-grandchildren, Jade France, Tommy Mitchell, Jeremy Mitchell, Ryan, Camden, and Remington, five sisters, and two brothers. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, son, Tommy Stubblefield, a sister, and a brother.
