Obituary of Jace Glenn

Funeral service for Jace Aiden Glenn, 3, son of Jared Anthony and Makenzie Lauren (Kelty) Glenn of Sulphur Springs will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Bro. Fred Lewis and Bro. Mark Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Johnathon Gammill, Todd Williams, Blake Caldwell, Jake Morrill, Lance Smith, Cameron Fatland, Callen Hurley, Chad Glenn, Brad Glenn, Kory Koon, Marshall Sickles, and Brent Askins serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Lundell, Ky Caddell, and Straton Darling. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at First Baptist Church. Jace passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Medical City Dallas ChildrenÂ’s Hospital. Jace was born with ARPKD and was on dialysis for two and a half years until he received a transplant from his mother on January 30, 2012. He is survived by his parents, Jared and Makenzie Glenn, grandparents, Jim and Lisa Glenn of Sulphur Springs, Mike and Susan Kelty of Sulphur Springs, great-grandparents, Tim and Nita Kelty of Sulphur Springs, Karen and Fred Partin of Mckinney, Waneta Townsend of Sulphur Springs, David and Susy Winningham of Granbury, aunts and uncles, Jamie and Chris Fried of Cooper, Zac and Sam Kelty of Brisbane, Australia, Marissa Kelty of Sulphur Springs, as well as numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Billy and Ikey Glenn, Wanda McGee, and Junior Townsend. The family of Jace would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Tod Conner, Dr. Albert Quan, and all the staff at Medical City Dallas ChildrenÂ’s Hospital.
