Obituary of Lydia Ellen Nelson

Graveside services for Lydia Ellen Nelson, age 90, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Bruno Cemetery in Bruno, AR, with Bro. David Shekels officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, AR. Pallbearers will be Jim Bob Nelson, Jeff Nelson, Mike Slusher, Michael Carlton, Tom Nelson and Jason Gray. Mrs. Nelson passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Carriage House Manor in Sulphur Springs, TX. Mrs. Nelson was born on February 8, 1922 in Bruno, AR, the daughter of Robert and Mariah (Davis) Lowery. She married Edward H. Nelson on November 18, 1940 in LeMoore, CA. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2009. Mrs. Nelson was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by two sons, Bob Nelson, Steve Nelson and wife Charlotte all of Sulphur Springs; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Una Lowery, Bessie Lowery and Lona Willard; brothers, Troy Lowery, Garland Lowery and an Infant brother.
