Obituary of Jennifer Jenkins

Memorial service for Jenny Jenkins, 43, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home. She passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Hopkins County. Jenny was born on December 22, 1968 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Richard Lee Jenkins and Paula Jean Kalkowski. She graduated from Plano East Senior High School and received her masters from Texas A&M University at Commerce. After graduating from college, she began doing what she loved, working as a psychologist at Garland ISD for four years and Dallas ISD for ten years. She is survived by her parents, sister, Missy Jenkins, beloved nephews, Richard McCrosky and Gage Pogue all of Sulphur Springs, aunts and uncles, Jack and Patty Henry of Boise, Idaho, Diane Cordell of Austin, TX, Tom and Jeannie Kalkowski of Phoenix, AZ, Mike and Rita Kalkowski of Omaha, NE, Rick and Julie Kalkowski of Wenatchee, WA, cousins, Chris, Suzy, Kathy, Laurel, Stephen, Nick, Doug, Linda, Jackie, Beth, Sam, and Sophie. She is also survived by her partner, Tyler Guidice of Royse City, TX. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, www.wish.org.
