Obituary of Wanda McGee
Funeral services for Wanda Mae (Cox) McGee, 84, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Spence Chapel with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Jim Glenn, Jared Glenn, Chris Fried, Garret Hood, Toby Hood, and Quentin Hurley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Haynsworth, Jace Glenn, Callen Hurley, and Kaslyn Hurley. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to service time. Mrs. McGee passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 28, 1927 in Elk City, OK, the daughter of Bart and Dessie (Jones) Cox. Mrs. McGee was a housewife and of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by daughters, Dannie Lynn Haynsworth and husband Harold, Lisa Glenn and husband Jim, both of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Tami Hood and husband Toby, Teri Hurley and husband Quentin, Jamie Glenn Fried and husband Chris, Jared Glenn and wife Makenzie, great-grandchildren, Callen Hurley, Kaslyn Hurley, and Jace Glenn, cousin, S.L. Morrow and wife Alice and family, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Jim Cox, Jerome Cox, Eston Cox, and Kenneth Cox.
