Obituary of Elizabeth Crook

Elizabeth “Biddie” Lucille (Fisher) Crook, 78, of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away at home on April 26, 2012. She was born March 6, 1934 to Lloyd and Lucille Fisher in McKinney, Texas. She married Bobby Crook on April 19, 1954 in McKinney, TX. Biddie worked for Alliance Bank over 22 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Perry Gene Fisher, grandson, Thomas Lloyd Crook, and great-grandson Bryson Kelly Melton. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bobby Crook of Sulphur Springs; her children, Lynn Crook of Sulphur Springs and Lynette Crook of Sulphur Springs; her brothers, Fred Fisher (Ruth) of Sulphur Springs; Bentley Fisher (Lavon) of Bella Vista, AR; Bryant Fisher (Marilee) of Sulphur Springs and Wendell Fisher (Pat) of Sulphur Springs, sister Nancy Bowman (Jim) of Combine, grandchildren, Bobby Crook (Marianne) of Flower Mound; Russell Melton (Kortney) of Sulphur Springs; Roger Melton of Sulphur Springs; Mikey Melton of Sulphur Springs and 5 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2012 at West Oak Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs with Rev. Jim Moore officiating. Interment will follow at South Liberty Cemetery with Bobby Crook, Russell Melton, Roger Melton, Michael Melton, Ray Ragan, Drew Cross, and Britt Fisher serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ruth Fisher, Lea Ann Fisher, and Carol Clark. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to service time.
