Obituary of Linda McCoy

Funeral services for Linda Sue McCoy, age 66, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2013 at Shannon Oaks Church with Todd Tunnell officiating, Bran McCoy and Sandra Baucom assisting. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Mack Reed, Joe Anderson, Roger Elliott, Sam Sevier, Mike McNair and Gene Neal serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 14, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Linda passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at her residence. She was born on June 12, 1947 in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Harold and Velma (Russell) Reynolds. She married Fred McCoy on February 25, 1966 in Irving, TX. He survives. Linda was a member of Shannon Oaks Church and Core Leader for Community Bible Study. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Clay McCoy of Sulphur Springs, Bran McCoy and wife Summer of Kerens and Jeff McCoy and wife Lindsay of Sulphur Springs, sisters, Gail Smith and Nancy Penn and husband Pat all of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Justin, Dustin, Judd, Cully, Katelyn and Landri.
