Obituary of Evelyn Johnson

Funeral services for Evelyn Joy Johnson, age 62, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2012 at Cypress Baptist Center with Rev. B. R. Hargest officiating. Interment will follow at Coffee Cemetery with Larry Askew, Melvin Person, Ronnie Askew, James Young, Rickey Young and Ricky Godbolt. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab. Mrs. Johnson was born on November 2, 1949 in Sulphur Springs the daughter of Lois and Beatrice (Young) Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a cashier with Walmart and a member of Galilee Baptist Church. She is survived by her mother, Beatrice Johnson of Como, daughter Lisa Hawkins and husband Raymond of Longview, son, Tyron Clayton and wife Tammy of Sulphur Springs, brothers, Larry Johnson and wife Janice of Sulphur Springs, Noah Johnson of Como, grandchildren, Saria, Raymond, Jr., Johnathan, Teaira, Tamera, and Latydrick, great-grandchildren, Breea and Aubreanna.
