Obituary of Melissa Melton

Funeral services for Melissa Nicole Melton, age 26, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013 at League Street Church of Christ with Rev. Mike Eason and Rev. Joel Tiemeyer officiating. Interment will follow at Old Tarrant Cemetery with Jeremy Melton, Randy Melton, Bruce Melton, Brian Melton, Terry Melton, Scott Melton and Ray Wright serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Estes, Dalton Littrell, Zane Willhite and the North Hopkins Class of 2005. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Melissa passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Melissa was born on December 9, 1986 in Plano, TX, the daughter of Thomas “Dooley” Lee Melton and Carolyn Leah Wright Melton. Melissa was a substitute teacher for North Hopkins Independent School District. She was a graduate of North Hopkins High School and went to cosmetology school. Melissa is survived by her parents, grandmother, Virginia Berney of Little Elm, TX, brother, Jeremey Melton and wife Kattie of Miller Grove, sisters, Brandy Estes and husband Mark and Leslie Littrell and husband Dalton all of Sulphur Springs, also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews.
