Obituary of Linda Maddox

Funeral services for Linda Beth Maddox, age 62, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, TX, with Richard Watkins, Mike McNally, Sloan McGahee, Justin Stone, Mike Miesse, Randy Dunn and Bobby Rhodes serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 Monday, January 16, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Linda passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Linda was born on February 23, 1949 in Kilgore, TX, the daughter of Eddie and Margaret (Madding) Furlow. Linda worked as an agent for Farm Bureau for over 12 years and was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by four daughters, Jennifer Ritchery and husband Sam of Sulphur Springs, Jessica Stone and husband Justin of Troy, TX, Kimberli Fortner of Purcell, OK, and Lacy McNally of Stephenville, one sister Cherry Rhodes and husband Bobby of Paris, grandchildren, Alex and Sloan McGahee, Abbygayle Marrett, Eric and Scott Fortner and Kayleigh, McNally, a special grandchild who she was raising, and nieces and nephews.
