Obituary of Ethel Gregg

Funeral services for Ethel Lee Gregg, age 97, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2011 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memoiral Park with Rod Gregg, Steve Stephens, Pitney Gregg, Chad Gregg, David Waller and Ricky Landers serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Gregg passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Gregg was born on October 12, 1914 in Broadway, TX, the daughter of Jimmy and Aubrey (Hutchins) Albright. She married Clyde Otto Gregg on January 31, 1930 in Paris, TX. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Gregg was a member of First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs for over 65 years. After 35 years she retired from Bealls Department Store. She is survived by sons, Brice D. Gregg and wife Shirley of Como, TX, Dan F. Gregg and wife Nina of Houston, TX, Joe B. Gregg and wife Ann of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, daughter, Patricia Duehr and husband Michael of Dubuque, IA, grandchildren, Tammy Waller, Kim Auger, Steve Stephens, Rod Gregg, Pitney Gregg, Chad Gregg, Shannon Wooldridge, Shelly Delgado, Jo Ann Gregg and David Gregg, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
