Obituary of Bernice Wall

A funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Bernice Julia Wall, of Como will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 1, 2011 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Hale Center, TX with Father John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery with the family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Bernice a former longtime resident of Hale Center, TX, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Bernice was born on October 12, 1919 in Shiner, TX, the daughter of William “Bill” Behlen and Martha Maeker Behlen. She married Guy Wall on November 15, 1941 in Lubbock, TX. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1999. Survivors include two sons, James Wall and wife Mary of Ft. Worth and Sammy Wall and wife Diane of Slaton; two daughters, Jeanne Conley and husband Gary of Como, and Emily Alexander and husband David of Brashear; daughter-in-law, Neoma Wall Williams of Hart; 11 grandchildren, David Wall, Patrick Wall, Rachel Wall, Brent Wall, Michelle Daniel, Dustin Wall, Guy Conley, Michael Conley, Kim Self, Daniel Alexander and Neal Alexander; 24 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Mike Wall; two brothers, Stinson Behlen and Clifford Behlen; one sister, Cornelia Buxkemper; one great-granddaughter, Krysten Millard.
