Obituary of Frances Avaritt
Graveside services for Bertha Frances Avaritt, age 86, of Saltillo, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Rev. Ken Clay officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Carolyn Brown, Jeanie Fouse, Joyce Bateman, Glen Turner, Jimmie and J.B. Garner, Brenda Gorman, Freida Boofer, and Shirley Clay. Miss Avaritt passed away Thursday, November 4, 2011 at Briarcliff Health Center in Greenville. Miss Avaritt was born on May 7, 1929 in Hopkins County, the daughter of Herbert and Verona (Dickerson) Avaritt. Miss Avaritt was a shipping supervisor for Rockwell International. She was a member of Saltillo Baptist Church and a member of Eastern Star. She had served as the treasurer of the Home Demonstration Club. She is survived by three sisters, Kathryn Orren of Sulphur Springs, Rosemary Avaritt of Edmond, OK, Shirley Moore of Greenville, TX, one brother, Frank Avaritt of Garland, and a host of nieces and nephews.
