Obituary of Jessie Faye Boucher
Jessie Faye Glasco Boucher died peacefully in her sleep, early Thursday morning, June 13, 2013.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 19th at St. Ann Catholic Church in Winnsboro, TX.
Memorials may be made in her name in lieu of flowers to:

Jessie was born on February 11, 1927 in Upshur County near the Grice Community, about 10 miles from Gilmer, TX. She was the fifth and youngest child of Jesse Thomas (Jett) Glasco and Clara Amma Mullinex Glasco. The family moved to Hopkins County near Pickton when Jessie Faye was about 2 years of age, where she attended all 12 grades and graduated from Pickton High School in 1945.
Jessie moved to Dallas, Texas in 1946 where she met her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Joseph Boucher. The couple married on April 1st, 1950 and resided in Dallas and Irving, Texas for over 32 years where they raised their two children. Following KennethÂ’s retirement the couple moved to their lake home in Wood County, TX.
Jessie loved oil painting, gardening, geneology research and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and was dedicated to her church and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jett and Amma Glasco, her husband, Kenneth Boucher, Brother, Rev. Noble Glasco, Sisters, LaVerne Cheney, Myra Ragan, Oleta Knotts and lifelong friends Wayne and Elnora Flaherty. She is survived by her two children, John Boucher of Dallas, TX , Vicki Barnhouse of Walsenburg, CO, Son in Law John Barnhouse of Walsenburg, CO, Grandson Justin Barnhouse and wife Jenni Coulter-Barnhouse of El Paso, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials also be made in her name to: St. JosephÂ’s Residence, 330 W.
