Obituary of Lee Dial
Funeral services for Lee Mrytle Dial, age 92, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Morning Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. M. LaVelle Hendricks officiating. Interment will follow at East Caney Cemetery with Joe Stokes, Lester Henley, Terry Williams, Clifford Jones, Lester Dial and Adrian Williams serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2011 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Dial passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Carriage House Manor. Mrs. Dial was born on January 22, 1919 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of George and Corine (Williams) Vaden. She married L.V. Dial on December 24, 1940 and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Dial worked in housekeeping at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Morning Chapel Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one son Chris Dial of Sulphur Springs, brothers, Clifford Vaden of Dallas and Cleveland Vaden of Sulphur Springs, one sister, Mozell Williams of Sulphur Springs, granddaughters, Monica Clayton of Carrolton, Ashley Clayton, Taryn Clayton and Kristy Dial all of Sulphur Springs, great-grandson, Ivyn Clayton of Sulphur Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Jaythell Dial Clayton, brothers, L. D. Vaden and Clarence Vaden, sisters, Marie Stokes, Emma Jewell Clayton, Dester Vaden and Theola Jones.
