Obituary of Christopher Goins

Christopher Edward Goins was born on July 5, 1989. On Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Christopher ran to Jesus. His journey on this earth ended surrounded by the extraordinary love of his family along with the family of Cook ChildrenÂ’s Health Care System in Ft. Worth, Texas. He is survived by his parents, Clyde Edwin Goins and Donna Leigh Goins and brother Charles Edwin Goins. He is also survived by his grandmother Norma Jean Powell of Springfield, Missouri. His surviving relatives also include his Uncle Jimmy, Uncle Johnny of Louisiana, and his Uncle Brad, Aunt Violet, Uncle Lester and Aunt Cindy of the Springfield, Missouri area. Lois, Donna, Kevin, and Melissa of Florida are survivors as half-brothers and sisters as is Gregory of Texas. A child of God, overflowing with extraordinary, out-of-the-ordinary love for others, Christopher enjoyed life of this world with his school friends- his imaginary buddies- animals, whether they be at a zoo or in the kitchen and/or bed of his home. Most of all, life, love, and laughter with his mom, brother, home health nurses, and dad allowed Chris to enjoy life to its fullest. There should be words created for someone so special since those symbols we know as words simply donÂ’t exist. Christopher has run to Jesus and it is certain heÂ’s running with the angels as well.
