Obituary of Rebecca Hopper

Rebecca M. Hopper, born February 23, 1935, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at her home. Her parents, Earl P. Hopper and Edith Reynolds Hopper Chapman preceded her in death. She is survived by her step-father, Claude E. Chapman, brother, Kenneth Hopper and wife Linda of Como, sister, Venera Dodd and husband Jimmie of Sulphur Springs, brother, Rev. C. R. Chapman and wife Debbie of Ben Wheeler, sister, Ann Ratliff and husband John of Midlothian, she is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends. She was a faithful servant of her lord at First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2011 at West Oaks Funeral Home. A private interment will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery.
