Obituary of Hurley Cork

Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Hurley Jerome “Gorilla” Cork On November 4, 1977, Hurley Jerome Cork was born into this world to the parentage of Sherry Renette Johnson and James Hurley Cork. He was educated in Sulphur Springs Independent School District. He was a part of the graduating Class of 1997. He had a strong love for horses and motorcycles. Hurley was a part of the Gaited Nation Riding Club and Knights Motorcycle Club. Hurley professed a hope in Christ at an early age and accepted him as his personal Savior. He attended church at We Deliver Church. He was a Sulphur Springs native. Hurley departed the world Sunday, June 9, 2013. He leaves behind to cherish his memory 9 children, Shakyra Cork (Faith), Tashyra Cork (Melaunda), Tyrek Cork (Faith), Todrick Cork (LaShonda), Shania Harrison Cork (Shana), ZeQuavian Cork (Sharonda), DeKemian Person (Melaunda), DeQuavian Person (Melaunda) and ShaQuille Relford (Melaunda), special daughter, Destiny Jones (Brandi), 3 grandchildren, Zaniyah Reed, Keidrie Frazier and Jakaiden Jones, sister, Brandi Askew, step-father, Lawrence Wendell Askew, grandmother, Marva Priscilla Johnson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Cork.
