Obituary of Tony Giles

Funeral services for Granville Anthony “Tony” Giles, age 42, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Cody Giles officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery with Mike “Bobcat” Skelton, Bull Lewis, Donny McGary, Jacob McGary, Lil Robert Henson, and Luke Davis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Eppars and Stanley Giles. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Tony passed away on September 7, 2019. He was born on April 22, 1977 in Sulphur Springs, the son of Rickey Thomas Giles and Janet Coker Adams. He married Doni Rae Giles on November 12, 2011 in Hopkins County. He worked as a truckdriver and enjoyed spending time with his family and working on the family farm. He is survived by his wife, Doni Giles, mother, Janet Coker, son, Ty Giles, daughters, Sidney Boles and Aubrey Giles, brothers, Lil Robert Henson and Nathan Bearden, sisters, Wendy Giles and Jana Ray, and best friend, Bobcat. He was preceded in death by father, Rickey Giles, and grandparents, Fred and Wyvone Giles, and L.D. and Rosie Coker.
