Obituary of Armie Wade

Irma Lee (Armie) Wade was born in Hughes Springs, TX on August 14, 1942 to the late Lee Andrew and Josie (Berdine) Denmark. She entered into eternal rest on September 5, 2019. Armie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She attended Traylar High School in Hughes Springs, TX and Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, TX.

 

She was a tenured member of the Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and has been a faithful and dedicated worker for many years. She attended Naomi Sunday School Class, was a member of the Seasoned Saints and Usher Staff #5. In her spare time she enjoyed baking and quilting.

 

On September 7, 1963 she married L.J. Wade Sr. and to their union four children were born: Marrion Wade of Tyler, TX, Denise Campbell of Abilene, TX, Larry J. Wade, Jr of Austin, TX, and Barry Wade (Gabrela) of Crowley, TX.

 

She also leaves to cherish her memories six granddaughters, Danesha, Jessica, Christa, Maalesha, Jourdin, and Yordanos; three grandsons, Brett, Tylar, and Mussie; two great-grandsons, Caleb and Christian; brother, James Denmark (Barbara) of Longview, TX; special friends, Ann Grant, Freddie Wade, Peggy Hatcher, and Karen Chapman; and a host of other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Florence Hawkins and infant sister; brothers, Duke Royal, Warren Royal, Everett Royal, Elbert Denmark, Clinton Royal, Pete Denmark, Pat Denmark, Marvin Denmark, Claude Denmark , and Andrew Denmark.
