Obituary of Juana Maria Torres

Juana Maria Torres, 25, Lucas Mateo Alvarez, 2, and unborn son, Aiden Alvarez died on Friday, August 30th, 2019, from injuries sustained in a car accident in Whitewright, Texas. 

Juana was born to Juan Carlos Torres and Mary Elizondo on July 18th, 1994 in Brownwood, TX. Juana had 2 boys with Arnulfo Alvarez and another on the way. Juana gave birth to Lucas Mateo Alvarez on May 15th, 2017, in Sulphur Springs, TX.  Lucas lived every minute of his brief time with us to the fullest. His laughing eyes, beautiful curls, hilarious voice, and sense of adventure will never be forgotten. Juana loved her boys. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Juana and Lucas are proceeded in death by grandfather Jeronimo Torres and grandmother Mary Elizondo. She is survived by her son, Andres Alvarez, her parents, her 12 siblings, aunts, uncles and many cousins.  Lucas is survived by his father, brother and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7th, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 6th, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
