Obituary of Glenda Rae Watkins

Funeral services for Glenda Rae Watkins, age 78, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Eason officiating and Bro. Cody Chester assisting. Interment will follow at Reilly Springs Cemetery with Grandsons serving as pallbearers, and granddaughters as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home.  Glenda passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her residence. Glenda was born on May 3, 1941 in Sydney, Nebraska the daughter of John George Edward Moench and Lorraine Victoria Nelson Moench. Glenda married J. R. Watkins and he survives. Glenda was a secretary for Advantage Copy Systems and she was of the Lutheran faith. In addition to her husband she is survived by sons, Lloyd Watkins and Cindy, Mark Watkins and Christi, Daryl Watkins and Marty, daughters, Vicki Dais and Mark, Jenny Cockrum and Terry, brothers, Marvin Moench, Wesley Moench and Doug Moench, nineteen grandchildren, forty- three great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.
