Obituary of Kay Sanders Sword
Beloved wife and mother, Kay Sanders Sword, 76, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at her Yantis home.
Born September 27, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina, Kay was the daughter of C.P. Sanders, Jr. and Rita Cone Sanders. In 1963, she married the love of her life, Lewis P. Sword, who predeceased her in
2017.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, sister Beth Sanders Weaver, and brother, Nat Sanders.
She is survived by her daughters, Ronda (Tim) Winkfein of Scroggins, Cheri (Jim) Jenkins of Asheville, NC, brother Tim (Gerry) Sanders of Charleston, SC and grandson Alex Gilliland of Fort Worth.
Her daughters wish to thank the compassionate individuals at Heart to Heart Hospice in Sulphur Springs for their loving care of our mother.
