Virginia was a wonderful, actually a marvelous, inspiration to me, a member of our Bible class at First Baptist for several years, and a very caring friend who visited me numerous times after I fell and broke my hip and was at Carriage house for a lengthy stay. I was always blessed by her kind and humble and caring spirit and her determination to push forward to be with her family and be a part of every important occasion, and to be at worship services on Sunday when it could not have been easy to do so. She was an exemplary wife and mother and friend, a valiant warrior, and a true Christian in every way. Her reward will be great!

So sorry to hear of Virginia's passing. Our friendship goes way back. We were neighbors in Lancaster and Virginia and I became friends before we started school and lasted until she moved away during our High School years. I feel blessed to have known her and to have enjoyed her friendship.
