Obituary of Gladys Long

Gladys Mae Long, age 82, of Sulphur Springs passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Long was born on April 28, 1931 in Flatonia, TX, the daughter of Charles and Emma (Hrncir) Darilek. She was married to Harry E. Long and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Long worked as an office administrator in sales and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She is survived by her sister, Irene Dietzel of Sulphur Springs, nieces, Donna Poteet of Miller Grove, Charlotte Freeland of Carrollton, nephew Tom Svatek of Seguin as well as several nieces and nephews.
