Obituary of Bonnie Tassone

Graveside Services for Bonnie Jo Tassone will be held Monday, January 20, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., at Yantis City Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Henry conducting the services. She was born April 29, 1963 to James W. and Rachel E. (Hooker) Morgan in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Tassone passed away peacefully, with her two daughters by her side, January 15, 2014, after a two year battle with cancer, in Harris County, Texas. An inspiring soul with a heart the size of Texas. As a mother she exalted kindness, perseverance, and forgiveness. Ever reminding to always be grateful for what you have in lieu of the things you want. Her love of life transpired into her interest of gardening. It takes patience and love to grow something beautiful from a seed. And that was how she approached all facets of life. Her daughters and granddaughter Aaliyah meant the world to her. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. She is survived by daughters, Jimmie Sutherland and husband Darren of Houston and Cathleen Arnold and husband Frank also of Houston, two brothers, Randy Morgan and Walter Morgan. One sister, Jammie Fenimore of Yantis and granddaughter Aaliyah Silva of Houston, one nephew and three nieces, also surviving is long- time companion, Tim Tassone.
