Obituary of Renee' Shepard

Funeral services for Carmela Renee’ Shepard, age 59, of Grand Prairie will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, TX, with Rev. Billy R. Delaney officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas, TX.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, TX.  Renee’ passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Methodist Hospital in Mansfield.  Renee’ was born on November 11, 1959 in Odessa, TX, the daughter of Eldon Ford and Wyvonne Harrison Ford.  She married Darrell Eugene Shepard, Sr. on July 21, 1977 in Odessa, TX.  He survives.   Renee’ was a homemaker and a member of Friendship West Baptist Church.  In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Darrell E. Shepard, Jr. and wife Danya of Oklahoma City, Takeyha Stewart and husband Marlon of Edmond, OK, brother, Tony Ford and wife Pamela of Chicago, IL, Tyree Beck of Odessa, TX, sisters, Marlena Norris and husband Phillip of Atlanta, GA and Pamela Johnson of Wichita Falls, TX, grandchildren, Drake Shepard, Tatum Shepard and Paisley Stewart.  Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
