So very sorry to his family and friends I only met him a handful of times but in that time he was she most pleasant man I ever talked to. He always had a smile in his face and you could tell he was a family man and most of all I liked that he would joke with you and take time to ask you how you were doing. He was thoughtful sweet and outgoing. We are sad to not see him walk through our doors again my prayers are with his wife children and grandbabys.

Kay & family members,
I am deeply saddened to hear the passing of my friend Joe Dan this week near the Brahama Mart in Omaha, where many of Joe's friends often gathered and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the restaurant several times a month, with a tremendous fellowship with Joe Dan at our table inside the store.
Joe was a very unique special kinda Guy to everyone who knew him, including me, who's loved him for his loyal friendship, his sincere sense of humor and an his common sense council with his friends that sometimes were feeling downward, he could lend them a little of advise on personal matters to lift their spirits.
Joe Dan will forever always be remembered for his thoughtfulness to all his dear friends and his affectionate love for his sweet dear family.
My heartfelt condolences extend to all of You with continued thoughts and prayers during these most difficult times. God Bless.

Kay & Family - Still trying to wrap my mind around losing Joe. It isn't easy. I am so grateful for the telephone visit we had when he called about Oklahoma's big "shake" on Labor Day weekend. I told him about how special the times were when he and the family came to visit. Those were truly special times that I will hold dear forever. I know that Heaven is a much sweeter place now. My prayers are for you, your girls, and Patricia.

It's heartbreaking for us to hear of your tragic loss. Judy speaks very highly of her cousin Joe and all the memories they have as kids playing and riding their horses on her family's farm.
Thoughts and prayers from your Kansas family.

Kay and family,
Our family grieves with yours as deeply as you have grieved with us. My parents treasured your friendship for many years before I met you. Then, when you built your house next door to theirs, we were delighted!
Joe was a faithful man of God in this life, and now he has seen the face of Jesus! I pray that God gives you the peace that is only his to give as you begin life without Joe.
In Christ's love and mine,
Liz Martin Jackson

Dear Kay, Kathryn and Carolyn,
My heart just broke when I received word from the family.
Joe was like a second father to me. I think he knew that the few times I was able to make it up to Greenville and be lucky enough to have him either over at the house, see him in church, or visits to Dad's farm with my brothers.
I will always remember the Sunday I sat in church, Grace Presbyterian in Greenville. I was likely 12 years of age at the time. Your were all sitting on the opposite side from us. I had a perfect view of you and Joe.
I would bet I spent half of the sermon drawing a picture of him. After service I handed him the drawing.
I think he was shocked at the resemblance.
I have to think he might still have that drawing today tucked away somewhere.
I have prayed for you and the girls.
I will continue to do so throughout this year.
Always loved you like parents and always will.
Love,
Sean
