Aunt Ed was my favorite great aunt. I remember her teaching me "I dropped my dolly in the dirt" on her piano.
Your family is in my prayers.

It has been a journey filled with cherished memories of laughter, joy and tears that has now brought the "Mammies" together once again in eternal Heavenly grace. Little Mammy, Big Mammy and your dear Mammy are joined by Rose Jeanne (who Jamicita also called Mammy) to gather under a big shade tree, smell the fragrant blooming rose bushes and maybe even "go out a street" as they fill their endless days with remembrances of all that was dear in Sulphur Springs. And I'm confident that Sister, Flo and Mamma Chapman are engaged in that conversation, too. God bless them all.

Edna Earle always made me feel like family whenever I was around her. Being asked to sing at an event where Jacks was playing was great, and Edna Earle was always there too! Those were great days and I remember her fondly for that.
