Obituary of Ruby Fite

Funeral services for Ruby V. Fite, age 92, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fakri Malak and Rev. James Diamond officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Pete Simmons, Kevin Fite, Shawn Neal, Jeremy Neal Kell Morris, Josh Collins, Venansio Garica, and Shane Fite serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Slick Loyd, Zack Loyd, Bridger Loyd, and Dean Collins. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m, Friday, February 26, 2016 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Ruby Fite passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at her residence. She was born to Claxton Daniel and Violet Quincy Hays on May 1, 1923 in Sulphur Bluff. She was a checker at Kroger for twenty years. She married Cecil M. Fite, on October 18, 1941, in Dike, TX. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Cedar Crest Christian Church. She is survived by sons, Larry D. Fite and wife, Nancy, Michael J. Fite and wife, Chrisann, both of Sulphur Springs, daughter Bobbie J. Neal and husband, Bob, of Pickton, grandchildren, Kevin Fite of Austin, Karla Morris and husband, Kell of Sherwood, AR., Shawn Neal and wife, Amy, of Como, Jeremy Neal and wife, Leisa, of Yantis, Nikki Collins and husband, Josh, of Como, Megan Neal and husband, Venansio Garcia, of Pickton, Shane Fite and wife, Heather, of Pickton, Jesse Fite of Sulphur Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Jodi Hays, Bobbie Miller, Jean Simmons, brother, C. D. Hays Jr., grandsons, Jason Neal, Justin Fite.
