Obituary of Doyle Gene Coffman

Funeral services for Doyle Gene Coffman, age 68, of Point, TX. , will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 16, 2016 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel in Sulphur Spring, TX with Bro. Roy Burpo officiating. Interment will follow at Emblem Cemetery with Kevin Coffman, Carl Coffman, Tony Coffman, Kirk Ames, David Smart, Jessie Coffman, Eric Coffman, Randy Davis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Britt Coffman. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to service time at West Oaks Funeral Home. Doyle passed away on January 12, 2016 at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He was born on March 25, 1947 in Emblem, TX., the son of Amos Coffman and Opal Redman Coffman. He was a truck driver for many years and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by Linda, and his daughter, De-Ann Ames and husband Kirk of Athens, grandchildren, Leon and Kirtis Ames, David Smart of Dodd City and wife, Mayanin and daughter, Sarah Smart, sisters, Myrtle Rogers of Como, Susie Littrell of Sulphur Springs, Bennie Wisdom of Rollo, MO, Pat Murray of Sulphur Springs, brothers, David Coffman of Dodd City and Truitt Coffman of Campbell and many nieces and nephews.
