Obituary of Dorothy Baker Hughes

Graveside Services for Dorothy Baker Hughes, age 82, of Emory, TX, will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Copeland Chapel Cemetery, in Montgomery, TX, with Paul Baker officiating. Dorothy passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Dorothy was born on April 10, 1933 in Louisiana, the daughter of Isaac Nathaniel Gilmore and Clara Mae Gilmore. She married Charles Baker in 1949 he preceded her in death in 1979, and in 1981 Married David Hughes he preceded her in death in 2010. She is survived by a son Charles David Baker and wife Opal of Emory, TX, grandchildren, JoAnn Gibson and husband Michael, great grandchildren Luke and Emma Gibson all of Crockett, TX, Paul Baker and wife Holly, great grandchildren Michael, Brandon, and Andy Baker of Portland, TX. Ranae Bryan and husband James, great grandchildren Ethan, Caleb, Noah and Isaac Jones all of Emory, TX. In addition to her husbands she was preceded in death by her parents.
