Obituary of Charles "Bob" Glenn

Funeral services for Charles Robert “Bob” Glenn will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry Jordan and Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Jim Glenn, Lee Glenn, Tim Glenn, Billy Bob Messer, Matthew Glenn, Glenn Irvin and Matt Pogue serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Ridner, Toby Hood, Harold “Poogie” Haynesworth, Ronny Irvin, Earl Pogue, Chad Glenn and Brad Glenn. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 12, 2015 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Bob passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Carriage House Manor. Bob was born on May 16, 1951 in Sulphur Springs, TX, the son of Harrell Glenn and Charlene Hathaway Glenn. Bob worked in the family business and was a member of Martin Springs Baptist Church. Bob will be remembered as the life of the party who loved being around family and friends and never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed. Bob is survived by his mother, brothers, Tommy Glenn and wife Carol, John Glenn and wife Joy all of Sulphur Springs, sister, Mary Messer and husband Robert of Terrell along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
