Obituary of Harold Gene Hynson

Harold Gene Hynson, Age 73, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Hynson was born on Friday, September 5, 1941 in Sulphur Springs, TX, the son of Roland George and Mirtrue Alley Hynson. He accepted Christ at a very young age. He married Freddie Dial on January 11, 1965. To this union two children were born. Mr. Hynson proudly served in the United States Army. He was called to active duty during the Vietnam War and was presented with several medals in honor of his service. After returning home from service he worked a number of years in the dry cleaning business, E-Systems, and as a machinist for Flowserve, Inc., he retired from Flowserve in December of 2007. He was a member of Evening Chapel CME Church. He was also a member of VFW post #8560 and the American Legion post #0345. Survivors include, his loving wife of 50 plus years, Freddie Dial Hynson, daughter, Yesha Hynson, of Mesquite, sons, Dennis Daniels and wife Vernie of Galveston and Deno Young of Dallas. Brothers, Jewel Edward “Joe” Hynson of Houston, and Charles Hynson and wife Charlletta of Springfield, Mo, sisters, Rosemary Nash of Sulphur Springs, Vera Dial of Sulphur Springs, and Dorothy Williams and husband Thomas of Southlake. Grandsons, Dennis Daniels Jr., Brian Daniels and Colton Daniels. Also left to cherish his memory are sister-in-law, Barbara Dial, brother-in-law, Marvin Dial and wife Clifford Ann all of Sulphur Springs, and Abe Dial Jr., and wife Janice of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother James Bertram Hynson, and his son Harold Hynson Jr. Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
