Obituary of Lino Cruz

Funeral service for Lino Cruz, age 57 of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, with Father Mani Mathai officiating. Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery with Juventino Govea, Jose Cruz, Hugo Juarez, Pablo Juarez, Carmelo Ortega, Gabriel Lozano and Harland Hammond serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2015 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Lino passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Baylor Health Care in Plano, TX. Lino was born September 23, 1957, in Guanajuato, Mexico the son of Jose Cruz and Ana Alvarez Cruz. He married Cecilia Gutierrez on January 5, 2001 in Mexico. She survives. Lino worked in maintenance for Hammond Mobile Homes for 45 years and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by sons, Jose Cruz and Enrique Cruz of Sulphur Springs, daughters, Anna Govea and husband Juventino Govea, and Angeles Cruz of Sulphur Springs, father, Jose Cruz of Mexico, brothers, Ignacio Cruz and Artemio Cruz, of Mexico, sisters, Teresa Cruz, and Braulia Cruz, of Mexico and grandchildren Izabel Govea, Gracelyn Noelle and Dominic Govea, of Sulphur Springs.
