Obituary of Emma Odell

Emma Odell A private burial service for Emma Dee Stone Odell was held on Tuesday May 19, 2015 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Emma went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Carriage House Manor in Sulphur Springs. Emma was born January 16, 1920 in Howe, Oklahoma, the daughter of Arch Alexander Stone and Minnie Dora Skinner. She married Amos Odell in Hugo, Oklahoma on January 18, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Tina Otto, and two brothers, Archie Stone and Aulbert Stone. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews along with a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews. Memorials can be made to The Gideon’s International Bible Society or to Legacy Hospice in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Arrangements were under the direction of West Oaks and Murray Orwosky Funeral Homes.
