I'm so sorry about Janie. She was a special lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her. She was the same every time I would see her. She was always so nice to my Mother when she was living. I know you are going to miss her as will others. Just knowing that you will see her again is a comfort. She was so proud of Tanner and his family. She adored her Granddaughters. Praying for you. I wish I could be there for you but I and out of pocket. In God we Trust!! Peggy

Janie and I were dear friends during our years of public school at Mansfield. We were cheerleaders together and attended the First Baptist Church together. We made many wonderful memories with sleepovers at each of our homes. See you again on the 'other side'!

Janie was my first boss in 1981 at the Hopkins County extension. Over the years I lost direct contact with her. But I will always remember when Tanner was born and I was able to help watch him before my first daughter was born. Thankfully, through the years family contacts in SS has kept me in touch with the wonderful things Janie did for the people of Hopkins County. praying for comfort for you Tanner and your family during this time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Janie that well. But I knew of her and all I ever heard were sweet, wonderful things about her. On the occasions I was blessed to associate with her, she radiated that goodness and friendliness. Tanner is a true example of the Christian woman and testimony she lived. Prayers the Lord will wrap you all in His loving arms of comfort and peace. One day you will be reunited in His glory.

Tanner, I was so sad to hear of your mother's death. She was a good lady who helped a lot of people! My mother, Cadge Fails, & other ladies, used to help her with classes she held when she was the home economist for Hopkins County and my mother always enjoyed her association! When mother died, your mother came to her visitation and I appreciated her so much for that.
May God be with you and your family during this time.

Janie Crump was one of the finest women I have ever known. She loved everyone and especially kids. She taught me so much in the years we worked together in 4-H and on the Hopkins County Fall Festival Board. I grew to love her and appreciate her more and more.
Now, even in death she has reached out to do something for one of "her" kids. My son Ty is going through chemo treatment because of leukemia and Tanner called Ty and told him it was her wish that instead of flowers, she wanted people to donate to the fund for Ty to help him pay on some of the doctor and treatment bills. Janie leaves for her son and family a wonderful legacy. She is one in a million and I am proud to call her my friend.
Thank you dear friend and R.I.P. Janie Crump. You have earned your reward.

Clif and I send our deepest condolences. If Janie didn’t know everyone in the room when she arrived, she knew everyone by the time she left…and they knew her. There's no doubt in my mind that she's doing the same in heaven. I started my Extension career in Hopkins County with Janie as my trainer agent. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She remained my mentor and friend ever since. We have solved lots of world problems and probably created several over the years along with sharing lots of laughs and giggles. We roomed together at a national Extension conference several years ago and she kept us laughing. She will be greatly missed. I hope that you find peace and comfort in your memories.

Tanner,
So sorry for your loss. Your mom and I served on the board of the Texas Extension Association for Family and Consumer Sciences together. What a great agent and a great colleague she was. We had some wonderful times - working hard but having fun. She was so full of energy. One thing you need to know: she was so proud of you. She always shared something that you were doing or something you had challenged her with! I had not seen her in quite a while but I have some fond memories. I know that she's beside Our Lord right now waiting to hear about her new assignment continuing His work. Heartfelt prayers for strength to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Ida Acuna-Garza
