Obituary of Henry Ford, Jr.

Funeral service for Henry Ford, Jr. “Tim”, 70, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Harold Nash and Rev. Bobby Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Maurice Ford, Jr., Lawrence Washington, Jr., Bryan Ford, Sr., Leonard Ford, Jerry Washington, Jr., Dennis Ford, Jr., Christopher Washington, Sr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Dial, Lonnie Ford, Eldon Ford, L.J. Wade, Charles Clayton, and the Deacons of Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Ford passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 13, 1944 in Sulphur Springs, TX, the son of Henry Ford, Sr. and Pearlie Mae Dial Ford. He worked for many years and retired from Cabot Corporation in Pampa, TX. He was a member of Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by children, Keitha Willis (Eric) of Frisco, Kailyn Ford of Garland, Jaime Ford, Sr. of Las Angeles, CA, Shannon Hughes of Amarillo, Lamont Ford (Jacoby) of Washington, DC, and Jonathan Ford of Yokota, Japan, sisters, Pauline Washington of Dallas, Rosie Baker of Grand Prairie, Greta Nash of Sulphur Springs, brother, Rev. G.D. Ford, Sr. (Queen) of Duncanville, grandchildren, Jaime Ford, Jr., Erica Willis, Vontra, Josiah and Jadyn Ford, and LaKeith, Paiton, Davion and Zhkaja Hughes.
