My thoughts and prayers are with the Crabtree Family today as you say your goodbye's to Betty. I know she will be greatly missed by you all. But we have so much more to go to heaven for. What a glad reunion we will all have one day soon when our Lord and Savior calls us all home for that great Homecoming in the sky. I am not able to be in attendance for the visitation or service today due to a recent job change but please know that my heart is there with you and I will continue to pray for God's peace and comfort for each of you.

Betty was my mother's best friend for 50+ years. I have so many fond memories of her. When I was a child, I remember her taking care of my sister and I when my parents were away. She went on many trips to Hawaii and the eastern seaboard with mom. She fished with my dad when she owned a home on Toledo Bend, down the street from my parents. She spent most of her New Years with my parents. We loved the fresh creamed corn she would bring us from her parents house. She was a permanent fixture in mother's kitchen, where mom would always fix Betty's hair. Betty was always so neat and her home so clean. As a child, I was always fascinated with the 3 baby figurines lounging angelicly on her dresser. That was Betty...she was always so helpful, sweet, and patient. I know my parents, as well as her parents and siblings are welcoming her to her new life in heaven. She will be terribly missed by me and my sisters.
